Here are a few instructions regarding embracing your day with Joy.

  1. Train your tongue to speak life Proverbs 18:21. As you train your tongue to speak as the Spirit of God leads, streams of JOY will begin to flow from your life and you will look radiant to on-lookers (Psalm 28:7).
  2. God inhabits the Praise of His people. He does NOT inhabit the complaints of His people. Psalm 30:4, 1 Peter 2:9
  3. Do everything without grumbling and complaining Philippians 2:14-15. Negative people (complainers and whiners) tend to infect others quickly. Thus you must guard against surrounding yourself with people that are infected with this airborne virus (complaining/grumbling). 1 Corinthians 15:33
  4. Having a bad day? Be like David and Praise your way through it. (Psalm 34:1-4 , Psalm 71:8) Remember that God desires us to give thanks no matter what challenges the day may bring. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Take control of your thoughts and surrender your storm to Him. The wind and the waves of your storm still know His name.

Prayer:

Father I thank you for being in control of every moment of this day. Thank you for being in control of every storm I face. I ask that you would help me to take every thought captive that does not line up with what your word says. Set a guard over my tongue so that negative words will not flow out of my mouth Psalm 141:3. Allow my words to be Words of Praise unto You Most High. In Jesus Matchless Name, Amen.
